The 2017 Investiture of President Nana Akuffo-Addo has come and gone with all its pomp, pageantry and glory. But one thing that will forever be remembered about the ceremony is the beautiful display of our rich Ghanaian culture.

Ghana as a country has become the envy of many African nations and theΒ clothing, dancing and drumming at the event were full testaments to this facts.

Kente and Batakari were the order of the day at the event which was attended by several heads of states and representatives of diplomatic missions to the country.

The President himself who is a former lawyer and activist was decked in a rich Kente cloth that had Adinkra symbols as well as fabric patterns from several parts of the country.

His wife, Vice-President and his spouse were all part of the best-dressed list from Saturday’s event. Parliamentarians, Party faithful, chiefs and the ordinary men and women who appeared at the event also looked their best.

Here are 30 photos that summed up the event which will live in the minds of Ghanaians for a very long time.
